These Terms of Use describe the use of blop and apply where validly incorporated into the user relationship. Minors need their legal guardian’s consent where required by law.
The license for the app obtained through the App Store is governed by Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These supplementary terms do not replace it. Acquisition and billing are also subject to the applicable Apple Media Services terms. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
2. What the app provides
blop supports focus sessions on a compatible iPhone. You create focus modes, select apps, categories or websites to block temporarily and use a compatible blop NFC object to start and end sessions in normal use. Statistics, additional restrictions, Live Activities and the child-friendly “Bloppi” style complement these features. Screen Time authorisation and the required device capabilities must be available.
3. Prices, purchases and subscriptions
The blop app is offered free of charge and without an in-app subscription. Regular NFC use requires a separately available compatible blop object. These terms govern use of the app; purchases of the physical object are governed by the relevant sales contract and its stated terms and prices.
Reading this page does not create a paid contract. For a purchase, the specific offer and the App Store confirmation apply. Statutory withdrawal, warranty and refund rights remain unaffected. You can request App Store refunds via Apple’s Report a Problem and contact us regarding your rights.
4. License and your content
The scope of the app license is set out in Apple’s standard EULA and applicable App Store usage rules. Uses permitted by law remain permitted. Use the app lawfully and respect other people’s rights.
Your own content remains yours; we claim no right to use it for advertising or publication. Only enter or share other people’s personal data when authorised to do so. See the blop Privacy Policy for how content is processed.
5. Use and limitations
blop helps you manage focus by choice. Restrictions depend on iOS, your permissions and settings. The app does not provide complete protection from distraction or unsuitable content and does not replace supervision of children. The Bloppi style does not establish remote parental controls.
Select restrictions so that important communication and assistance functions remain accessible, and keep your NFC object available. Built-in emergency unlocks are limited and are not a permanently available replacement for the object. These functional limitations do not affect statutory rights concerning defects or liability.
6. Availability, updates and changes
Technical requirements are stated in the applicable App Store description. Some features depend on device permissions, the operating system or Apple services.
Statutorily required updates, including security updates, and remedies for defects remain unaffected. For continuously supplied digital products, further changes are made only where legally permitted, particularly for valid reasons such as changes to operating systems, security requirements or law, without extra charges and with clear information. If a change adversely affects access or use by more than a minor degree, we provide advance information on a durable medium about the change, timing and statutory termination rights. Rights under section 327r of the German Civil Code remain fully applicable.
7. Warranty and liability
Statutory warranty and liability rules apply. The descriptions of the app’s limitations do not restrict these rights.
8. Ending use and data
You may stop using the app at any time. Any subscription must also be cancelled through your Apple account; deleting the app does not cancel it. Uninstalling does not automatically delete separate exports, backups or data in other apps or cloud services. See the Privacy Policy for details. Statutory termination rights remain unaffected.
9. Changes to these terms and contact
A new date on this page does not automatically amend an existing agreement. Contract changes take effect only where legally valid; we seek your consent where required. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board. Questions about blop: norvia_noah@icloud.com.
